EG SG Pte. Ltd. (the “Firm”, “we”, “us” or “our” as the case may be) means the entity employing or proposing to employ you on the date that you receive this document, and we are committed to respecting your privacy. This Notice applies if you are a prospective employee of our Firm.

Please note that by seeking employment with the Firm or submitting your application and/or personal data to the Firm, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Notice and have agreed and consented to the Firm collecting, using, disclosing, processing and/or transferring your personal data in accordance with this Notice.



About this Singapore Candidate Privacy Notice

The Firm is responsible for ensuring that we use your personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).

This Singapore Candidate Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) sets out the basis on which any personal data about you that you provide to us, that we create, or that we obtain about you from other sources, will be collected, used, disclosed and/or processed by us. Please take the time to read and understand this Notice.

Where we use the term your “Application” in this notice, we are referring to your application to work at EG SG Pte. Ltd.



Personal data collected by us

We may collect, use, disclose, maintain, access, process and/or transfer the following personal data about you:


If you provide us with the personal data of your next-of-kin, spouse and other family members, you agree that you have provided this Notice to them to enable them to understand how we will be using their personal data and that you are validly acting on their behalf and have obtained their consent to disclose their personal data to us for the purposes for which we will be collecting and will be using their personal data.

Please ensure that you provide complete and accurate personal data to us and keep us updated on any changes to your personal data. Kindly note that if you do not provide complete and accurate personal data to us as and when it is required, it may result in serious consequences for you.



Uses of your personal data

Please note, if your Application is successful and you are subsequently offered and have accepted employment, the information we collect during the application and recruitment process will become part of your employment record.

Transfers of personal data outside Singapore

Your personal data may be transferred to our international affiliates and the various entities that make up our international network and accessed by personnel authorised by us, and in limited circumstances to our third-party contacts, outside Singapore as well as within it, for the purposes identified above.

When we transfer your personal data outside Singapore, we will take appropriate steps to ensure that the overseas recipient is bound by legally enforceable obligations to provide the transferred personal data with a standard of protection that is comparable to that under the PDPA.
